The Swaraj 969 FE is a turbocharged, three-cylinder 3478 cc tractor in the manufacturer's 66–70 HP category. This card is scoped to the 2WD version. Its purchase case centres on the required working speeds and PTO controls; the 4WD dimensions and weight must not be imported into this specification.

Choose the transmission package before comparing quotes

The manufacturer lists 12-forward, 3-reverse and 12-forward, 12-reverse arrangements, with a creeper/shuttle alternative. These are not interchangeable descriptions of one gearbox. If an operation needs slow ground speed while maintaining the prescribed PTO speed, request the delivered speed chart and demonstrate the appropriate ratio. A shuttle label does not establish clutch-free direction changes.

Match every PTO mode to the implement

The official page lists 540, 540E and multispeed forward/reverse PTO, together with an independent PTO clutch. Ask which modes are included on the ordered tractor and follow the tractor and implement manuals for engagement. An economy setting is not a guaranteed fuel saving for every load, and reverse must be specifically permitted by the attachment manufacturer. Judge lift at the stated measurement point

The published 2200 kg capacity is at the lower link ends, with Category II linkage. Have the supplier assess the loaded implement's centre of gravity, clearance and required ballast. Compare the 969 FE with the existing 963 FE only after identifying the power, PTO and working-speed requirement you need to change. A larger purchase is justified by the task and realistic annual use, not the top number in an HP category.
