Kubota NeoStar B2441S Narrow 4WD Price October 2026
Kubota NeoStar B2441S Narrow is a 24 HP-category 4WD model for buyers whose first constraint is physical access between rows. It must be distinguished from the standard B2441S and older B2441 listings. The current Indian brochure gives the Narrow its own dimensions and tyre specification; borrowing the standard version's figures produces a misleading comparison.
Width is configuration-specific
The brochure lists 910 mm and 1,000 mm overall widths for the Narrow, with 5 x 12 front and 8 x 18 rear tyres. Ask which approved setting is being supplied and measure the delivered machine. Do not read the advertised 910 mm as a guarantee that every configuration, attached implement or turning movement fits that space.
The brochure's minimum turning radius is 2.1 m with brake. That condition matters: a quoted tractor radius is not the full swept path of a mounted sprayer or rotavator. Have the dealer demonstrate the complete combination at your row ends without people standing in its path. Narrow access and safe operation on slopes are separate questions; a narrow dimension does not establish stability.
PTO and lift: ask precise questions
The model has a published 750 kg lift rating and 9F + 3R gearing. Ask the tractor and implement suppliers to approve the loaded attachment, hitch and ballast together. For spraying, include tank contents rather than matching the empty machine alone.
Kubota's promotional material mentions ECO-PTO, while the brochure table lists 540 at 2,535 engine rpm and 750 at 2,542 engine rpm. The product page also mentions a different economy-mode engine speed. Those statements do not establish one unambiguous 540-economy setting for the delivered tractor. Obtain the exact PTO modes and operating procedure in writing. A 750-rpm shaft mode is not automatically interchangeable with an implement specified for 540 rpm; do not use the disputed marketing numbers as operating instructions.
What to compare at the dealer
Compare the Narrow with the standard B2441S only after identifying the smallest real opening on your route. If both fit, compare the approved wheel settings, operator access and implement package rather than automatically choosing the smallest number. Also inspect the local parts and service arrangements: a specialised compact machine still needs timely filters, tyres and competent hydraulic service.
Ask for a rupee quote that names B2441S Narrow, the tyre setting and included equipment. Separate the ex-showroom tractor amount from applicable charges and implements in the final on-road total. No verified current price or fuel saving is claimed.
