The Sonalika Tiger DI 60 CRDS 2WD combines a common-rail engine with a choice of normal or creeper gearing. That makes the transmission order particularly important: buyers needing very slow working speeds should not assume that the extra ratios are included simply because the quotation says Tiger 60.

Use the dedicated 2WD specification

The current 2WD brochure, revision EN_0126, lists 60 HP, a naturally aspirated four-cylinder 4712 cc engine, 2000 rated rpm and 252 Nm maximum torque. Its front tyre is 7.50 x 16, with 16.9 x 28 at the rear. This card follows that document rather than the mixed wheel and rpm figures on the general product page. Verify the offered build against the same brochure.

Specify creeper gearing only for a defined job

The brochure distinguishes 12F + 12R from the optional 20F + 20R creeper package and lists double clutch with IPTO. Ask for the actual travel-speed chart at the engine speed required by your implement. More gears alone do not prove a better operating match. Confirm the attachment’s shaft requirement against the listed 540 PTO and reverse-PTO arrangement; reverse operation is not suitable for every attachment.

The listed hydraulic lift is 2200 kg. For a loaded mounted machine, check its centre of gravity and the tractor’s approved ballast and axle limits, not just that headline number. With 2WD, the field demonstration should establish whether traction limits the intended job. Before purchase, also confirm local common-rail diagnostics and the correct fuel-filter supply. No measured fuel-saving claim is made here.

Indian price availability

The checked TractorKarvan 2WD listing did not provide a usable numerical ex-showroom price. A quotation for the 4WD version is not a substitute. Ask separately for the standard and creeper packages, with tyres and all included equipment identified.

Before placing the order

Sources were checked on 22 October 2026. This is a specification assessment, not a field test. Obtain a dated local quotation identifying the exact build and separate applicable insurance, registration, transport and accessory charges. Ex-showroom references are not on-road totals.

Our verdict: Sonalika Tiger DI 60 CRDS 2WD

Verdict by the Aglist editorial desk

Shortlist it when the 2WD chassis and a verified gear-speed range match the job. Choose the creeper option from implement requirements, not from the larger gear count alone.

Sonalika Tiger DI 60 CRDS 2WD — Frequently asked questions

Does every Tiger 60 CRDS have creeper gears?

No. The 2WD brochure lists 12F + 12R and an optional 20F + 20R creeper configuration. Confirm the order specification.

Which rated engine speed is used here?

The dedicated current 2WD brochure specifies 2000 rpm. Verify the quoted build rather than mixing specifications from a general product page.

Can a 4WD price be used for this card?

No. Drive, tyres and transmission options must match. A numerical price is omitted because a supported matching quotation was not available.
