Powertrac is Escorts Kubota's value brand, launched in 2000 and built alongside Farmtrac in Faridabad. The group held 11.0% of FY2025-26 India domestic dispatches. Where Farmtrac chases the buyer who wants the biggest engine, Powertrac chases the one doing arithmetic in the showroom.
The two models we list make the case well. The Euro 50 gives 50 HP and 45.6 PTO HP from 2761 cc with 2000 kg lift, at ₹7.61 to ₹7.90 lakh. That PTO-to-engine ratio is the number to notice — 45.6 PTO HP out of 50 rated is a low transmission loss, and on a thresher or a straw reaper you feel it in throughput. The Euro 439 is the smaller one, 42 HP from 2339 cc with 36.12 PTO HP and 1600 kg lift, at ₹6.77 to ₹6.96 lakh.
Both carry 5 years or 5000 hours of warranty, which is a strong number at this price.
Two things to weigh. Powertrac's range on our site is narrow, with nothing below 42 HP and nothing in 4WD. And like Farmtrac, the dealer network leans heavily north-Indian; in Maharashtra, Karnataka or the North East you will find fewer trained hands and a longer wait for a gearbox part.

45.6 PTO HP from a 50 HP rated engine. Losing under 5 HP through the transmission is good for this class, and it is why the Euro 50 keeps a multi-crop thresher or a straw reaper fed without bogging down. The Euro 439 by comparison gives 36.12 PTO HP from 42 rated HP.
For four to eight acres it works well. 42 HP with 1600 kg lift covers a 5-foot rotavator, a nine-tyne cultivator, a seed drill and light trolley work. It is 2WD only, so if your fields flood for paddy or you farm a slope, the extra money for a 4WD machine is money well spent.
Both the Euro 50 and Euro 439 come with 5 years or 5000 hours, whichever comes first. At ₹6.77 lakh onwards that is one of the better warranty-to-price offers in the 42 to 50 HP band, matching John Deere's cover on tractors that cost several lakh more.
